Dream Theater live in Kiev, Ukraine 2011 (Blu-Ray, multi-cam edit)



This is the first and possibly only Blu-Ray item I'm going to be offering on my blog. This one was partitioned in such a way so that people will be able to download it from MEGA without paying for an upgraded account. Overall, the quality of this Blu-Ray is really nice but songs 10-13 are way louder than songs 1-9, and Metropolis (which was the tour debut of this song BTW) goes back to being quiet, so that is an issue.


Here are my instructions for downloading this. First, download this:

Second, download this, although if you lack a paid account on MEGA, you will have to download these files in probably 4-5 spurts (waiting at least 6 hours in between) because of the download limit.

After you've downloaded all the files, copy the entire "STREAM" folder into the BDMV container. On Mac, you will have to control-click on it, and select "Show Package Contents." Windows, I'm not sure. If you did it correctly, you should have something which is a facsimile of the original Blu-Ray

Dream Theater - The Change Of A Change Of Seasons

This is one of the rarest DT bootlegs I have, as it was limited to just 50 physical copies. On it, you get: 1. The Chris Cintron audition of A Change Of Seasons. The back cover art says “A Change Of Seasons ’89” which is partially true. The instrumental parts were laid down in 1989, but Cintron would have performed vocals in 1990. 2. The 1993 Limelight performance of A Change Of Seasons. One of only two times ACOS got played live with “the two Kevins” Moore & LaBrie (other was Bonn, Germany 1993). 3. The “Mercy Fuck” performance of A Change Of Seasons from Old Bridge, NJ June 1995. This one sounds nice in contrast to the very noisy version of this show in circulation. 4. The sample from Dead Poet’s Society about Carpe Diem meaning “seize the day.” 5. “A Change Of Simpsons.” This is a Scenes era performance of this song which has a piece of The Simpson’s Theme included.
